ABOUT DU PLESSIS PRIVATE SCHOOL
Building brighter futures through education, character and opportunity.
Established in September 2016, Du Plessis Private School is committed to providing quality education while developing learners academically, socially, spiritually, physically, and personally.
OUR STORY
Who We Are
Established in September 2016, Du Plessis Private School is a private educational institution located in Katima Mulilo, Namibia.
We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where learners are encouraged to discover their abilities, develop their talents, and work towards their full potential.
Our approach combines academic learning with opportunities for learners to participate in technology, science, sport, creative activities, leadership, community service, and character development.
We believe education should prepare learners not only for examinations, but also for life beyond the classroom.
“Every learner has the potential to build a brighter future.”
JIREH
“The Lord shall provide.”
The theme of Du Plessis Private School is Jireh, a Hebrew word associated with God’s provision.
The theme is inspired by Genesis 22:14 and reflects our belief in faith, hope, provision, and purpose.
The school also draws inspiration from JHVH — “I am who I am”, reflecting the account in the Book of Exodus when God speaks to Moses at the burning bush.
For us, Jireh represents more than a theme. It is a reminder that education is a journey of faith, growth, opportunity, and preparation for the future.
Faith. Knowledge. Character. Excellence.
